Michael Parks has served as the Senior Vice President leading Hoar Construction’s Florida Division—based in Orlando—for nearly two decades. Since assuming the senior leadership role in 2006, he has guided the division through substantial growth, transforming it into one of the company’s most profitable and high-impact regional operations. Under his direction, the division expanded its office footprint, client portfolio, and project scope across a variety of sectors, including retail, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, and multifamily. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s in Building Science, Parks brings deep technical knowledge in construction management, design-build processes, and value engineering. He is known for community leadership—having chaired boards for the Central Florida Associated Builders & Contractors and Heart of Orlando Young Life, along with his role as finance chair for local Boy Scout Troop 205. He currently serves as a board member for the Victory Cup Initiative, and is on the ICSC Centerbuild planning committee. He also contributes thought leadership through articles on industry trends, addressing topics from supply chain challenges to multifamily demand in construction publications.
